  • The host school will provide a BANNER (Flexible Vinyl) of size 5’ x 2’ – Vertical long.
  • Participants are required to bring paints (Acrylic, Permanent Pens etc.) to incorporate design and theme.

  • The participants can use their creativity and skills to make an ecofriendly Bag.
  • It should be sturdy of size 14” x 10” inches.
  • Participants have to bring requisites. (Magazine, Newspaper, Craft Paper, Card board, other recycle material for decoration, fevicol etc.).
  • Semi-made bags of pre – prepared materials is not allowed.

P07   RANGMANCH

  • Minimum 5 participants.
  • Performing Theme: Folk dance of any 1 state.
  • Time Limit: 5 - 7 minutes including Entry & Exit. (Exceeding the time limit will result in deduction of points)
  • Stage Size: 15 x 10 ft.
  • School team will bring only pen drive in audio format no CDs will be accepted. Submit your song at the time of registration i.e., at the registration counter.

 

P08   NUKKAD NATAK

  • A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 participants are allowed.
  • Time limit : 5 - 8 minutes
  • Language: Hindi/Hinglish.
  • The play should be original.
  • The Schools which require props (banners with slogans, clappers, masks etc.) must bring their own.
  • Only handheld props may be used.
  • Topic:-  “ Social Media       “का समाज और मन पर दबाव: क्या है बचाव”
  • The teams would be judged on the basis of originality, acting, co-ordination and message.

 

P09  MUSY ZEST

  • Category:- Solo Song
  • Genre/Form:- Semi – Classical Filmy Song
  • Time Limit: - 5 Minutes on and off stage.
  • Theme: - Raag based song on any of these raags. ( Bhairavi, Ashavari, Alahaiya, Bilawal, Jaunpuri)
  • Participants: - 1 + 3 accompanist.
  • Only students can play the Instruments for the Solo performance, Teachers are not allowed in any case to assist in playing instruments, to sing with or give backing vocals/ humming to the solo singer.
  • Participating teams may use at the most 3 instruments.
  • Participating teams should bring their own instruments.
  • Participants should perform in school uniform, props and costumes are not permitted.
  • Negative marking will be done for exceeding the time limit.

 

Literary 

 

P10   STARRY COSMOS

  • Participants: - 4 – 5 STUDENTS PER TEAM (including the narrator).
  • An enactment of any classical play of the yore in a skit form.
  • Famous dramas and fiction.
  • Time Limit: - 10 Mins. maximum
  • Props, Music, Painting, and Costumes permitted.
  • The schools would be judged on the basis of choice of Play, Pronunciation Overall presentation and time limit.

 

P 11 TREND SETTERS

  • Participants: 4 - 6 Students per team.
  • Theme based Radio Show ‘India of My Dreams’
  • The participants to be judged on the basis of the content, creativity, presentation and conversational skills.
  • Time Limit:- 10 – 12 Minutes.

 

P 12   WHIRLING MUSE

  • Participants: 2 Students per team one will perform and the other will recite.
  • A form of poetry intended to be performed as a dramatic monologue or exchange and frequently involving extemporizing.
  • The school will be marked on the basis of presentation, attire, theme, voice modulation, expression and specifically the background music.
  • The background music can be just an instrument or melody.
  • The teams should bring music in a pen drive as well as in a CD.
  • Poems chosen should be based on nature, childhood or unity in diversity.
  • Maximum 3 Minutes.

  • The delegates can be from grade 9 to 12.
  • Accommodation (for outstation schools only will be taken care of by the host school
  • Dress Code:- DAY 1: Formal Indian Attire               DAY 2: Western Formal Attire
  • Allocation of portfolios is subject to availability and early registration.
  • Lok Sabha shall be a bilingual committee in which the delegates shall be allowed to speak in English and Hindi both.
  • All the conventional committees of the conference shall follow the “UN4MUN” rules of procedure.
  • The World Media Council will consist of one Reporter and Photographer/ Caricaturist.
  • Registrations for DPSKMUN’18 will be considered on a rolling basis. Early registration will help delegates get faster and more favorable portfolios.

P 14   RHYTHM OF THE UNIVERSE (3D COLLAGE)

  • No. of participants : 2
  • Time limit :  2 hour
  • Participants are supposed to bring their own material (waste material) and colors.
  • Theme will be given on the spot.
  • The collage should depict the theme.
  • Each collage has to be accompanied with a short write up about the interpretation of the theme.
  • Changes in rules will be communicated to the participants before the event beginning.
  • Judges decision will be final.
  • Judgment criteria :- Creativity, Originality, Refinement, Aesthetics, Communication aspect.

 

P 15   AXIOM (MATHS QUIZ)

  • No. of participants : 2.
  • First Round – Elimination Round. Top ten qualifying teams will be going to the Second round.
  • Second Round – Elimination Round. Fastest finger first six qualifying teams will be going to the final round.
  • Final Round – Stage Round.

 

P 16   KODAK MOMENT (PHOTOGRAPHY)

  • No. of participants :- 1

Judgment Criteria

There are 2 categories of the event:-

  1. Long Term Skills

The student needs to click 2 photographs based on the topics and deposit it at the time of arrival to the teacher in charge.

  • Moving on wheels – Size 12” X 8”
  • Chaos in the city – Size 12” x 8”
  1. Short Term Skills –
    • The theme would be given on the spot.
    • Any camera or mobile phone allowed

Note:- From the judges mouth-

  • Photography is all about skills. The best picture could be captured even through a mobile phone camera.
  • Strictly to be followed – the images should not be MANUPILATES (HDR/ PHOTOSHOP/EDITED) or else the team will be disqualified.
  • The judge’s decision will be final and binding.

 

Science & Technology

 

P 17   BOB THE BUILDER

  • No. of participants : 2
  • Time limit : 1 hour 30 mins
  • The participants will be required to build a model in accordance with the blueprint provided by the host school. (Given on the day of the event).
  • The basic material required for the completion of the task (e.g. Wood, Fevicol) will be provided by the host school.

 

P 18 SCIENTIFICA

  • No. of participants : 2
  • The topics for the exhibits/models are given below:-
    a) Innovative designs of domestic hydroelectric generator.
    b) Design of fuels efficient automobiles/machines.
    c) Accident reducing devices
    d) Use of tidal waves/ocean currents for generating electricity.
    e) Pollution reducing systems.

 

P 19 TITANIUM CLUSTER

  • No. of participants : 2
  • Robots, which are battery powered vehicles, will be a part of this event. 
  • The event is divided into 3 levels to test the (a) speed, (b) flexibility & control, and (c) strength of the robot, in that order.
  • Each level will be a screening test for the next level and ultimately only 8 teams will participate in the last round.

 

Sports

 

P 20   GULLY CRICKET

  • No. of participants 3. (i.e. Boys/Girls)
  • 4 over match (3 balls per over)
  • At least one over should be bowled by a girl.
  • Continuous Overs are not allowed.
  • Special Pano bat will be provided by the school.
  • Game will be played with a Lawn Tennis Ball.
  • Opening Pair (1 Boy/ Girl)
  • Teams will be granted runs only by running between the wickets.
  • After dismissal, 2 runs will be deducted and Batsman will be changed.
  • Rest of the rules will be discussed at the time of the event.

 

P 21   STREET SOCCER

  • Football match in a cemented cage compound.
  • A team should consist of 5 players.
  • 5 players per team on court (3 outfield players + 1 goal keeper) plus 1 substitute player.
  • Football studs are not allowed.
  • Players are required to wear flat sole canvas shoes or sports shoes.
  • It will be played on a knockout basis.

 

P 22   TRIATHLON (BOYS)

  • No. of participants : 1
  • Triathlon’s order will be Running, Cycling & Swimming.
  • First 12 Cyclers will qualify for running and then first 6 Runners will qualify for the final event which is swimming, to finalize the winner.
